Happy birthday Jan. Sorry I'm a day late, or is it 2? Hope you had a nice day. Hoping also that you get your match dates with Amangul fixed in time for the cheaper flights. I know Hugh is doing the best he can. John.

Thankyou for your lovely wishes Alex, my wish at the moment is actually getting a match date,which i have been hoping for since January,I cant actually see this happening.

Palomino its so nice to see you on here, hope you are well and recovered from your ordeal.We usually celebrate with cake and candles,i spent my birthday time with my family and beautiful grandchildren,and in the afternoon worked very hard until about 12 midnite,then came home with aching feet lol

To everyone who congratulated me with 50-th anniversary on February 19 - many thanks for very warm, kind words in this hardest time in my life: passing a half of century.

Unfortunately, none of those voices came from Anglo-American Checkers fraternity, which is a bit pity but explainable and don't surprise me at all.
