Re: TN Tournament....
My son, Alex Holmes, has 5 (I am not sure who is winning in the minors) points in the minors after 2 rounds. My roommate from KY, Arthur Mays (wow! 100 % of his games he has won!), has 8 points in the majors, and Larry Keen has 7 (1st place so far)points in the Masters. Myself, Moiseyev, Webster, and many others are tie for 2nd place with 5 points.
I have plenty of accounting homework to do tonight but I will try to find some time to post more results.

Re: TN Tournament....
At the end of round 3 in the Masters Larry Keen is in 1st place with 10 points. Moiseyev, Webster, and I (Michael Holmes) are tied for 2nd place with 9 points. Webster and Keen are playing and Moiseyev and I agreed to two draws after drawing 11-15 23-18 8-11 as an opening. Arthur Mays is in 1st place in the Majors with 15 out of 16 possible points so far in the Majors and my son is in 4th place in the Minors. A younng lady ( I heard around 19 so I might be wrong) by the name of Jasmine is in 1st place in the minors (Her 1st tournament!).

Change # 99!
Masters
Keen beat Webster.
Keen 13
Michael Holmes 11
Moiseyev 11
Webster 10
Majors (with some masters)
My good friend from the Louisville Checker club is in 1st place-Arthur Mays....He is also the one that showed me the Excailbur Cook (named after Arthur obviously)that the USA Team used to beat the Barbados Team in 2004.
Minors
Jasmine Jones is 16! She is tied for 1st place with someone else. My son leads by two. Those two played each other with 1 win a piece.

Correction on Masters!
Three way tie for 1st!
Michael Holmes
Larry Keen
and Moiseyev all have 16 points with only 4 games left to play tomorrow!
Don West and Moiseyev had two draws tonight instead of Moiseyev winning one game. The last game was adjucated a draw but Moiseyev thought he had a win. Guess what! Larry Keen saw the position and asked me to put it on the computer after it was adjudicated......the computer showed it as a draw too just the way Don West played it. Oh well.

Re: TN Tournament....
Actually, when I left the tournament John and I were tied for 1st place on regular points. We both had 21 points but Larry and Moiseyev were still playing. They both had 18 points. If they both tie then John and I are tied for 1st on regular points. The honor points are going to be close. I know out of the 7 people I played there were only a possible 3 players I played that John may not have played. The three I am talking about usually play high quality checkers so we'll just have to see what the end result is after the calculations. Also, this does mean there is a chance that Larry or Moiseyev will tie or beat us on points........unlikely though as they are even in strength.

Re: TN Tournament....
Frank Davis called me last night so I called him back this morning. He told me that they checked the Honor points over and over again. I am the winner of the TN tourney by 1 honor point over John Webster. He and I tied for 1st place with 21 regular points. Moiseyev and Larry Keen tied for 3rd and fourth place with 20 points. Moiseyev came in 3rd on Honor points.
