John, I like your articles and reviews as well as Richard Beckwith travel notes. This is very interesting and fantasically attractive as well, as just regular report and games. Any personal "insides" make it always very interesting and unique. You may become a very good exceptional author eventually.

Take it this way: noon is just 12 hours after midnightJohnAcker wrote:I really shouldn't play checkers before noon.
So ... if Tim plays to draw with Jack in 3rd round, Alan will be the only leader in tournament ! Thats the way to go

It maybe a prime time for Jack. He already passed successfully (2 points not too bad) most danger opponent, Alan Millhone
and future looks bright for him now. The only but serious personal problem for Jack is his over ambitious. He always believes that he is best, but in card games King always beats Jack
And Americans also are not greens !
I am eager to see more results, listen stories and watching games.
Today I called in hospital to Frank Davis. He was very glad and happy about my call. His voice sounded weak enough and he said that he may spent another 2-3 weeks in hospital, but eventually plans to be back to business.
Regards,
Alex
