bogus email
bogus email
Howdy. I have received two emails which seem to be from Kim Willis and give a link to rapidshare.com. She has informed me that they are not from her. I am just reminding you folks to never click on (open) any file or link, if you don't know what it is, even if it seems to be from a friend.
Re: bogus email
JIm ........ive been getting them also from Kim this last fortnight...................
Always read "Cannings Compilation 2nd Edition" every day.
Re: bogus email
J. R. Smith tells me that he clicked on the link that seemed to be from Kim (but was not from her), and it wiped out his computer and he has been struggling to get it back for a full week now.
When I received it, I didn't know that it was malicious software (malware). I searched the Internet and found no mention of it. And the folks at Rapidshare.com still don't seem concerned about it.

Why Kimmy doesnt close that address and open a new one? , I recieved an email too.....
just lady.......
Re: bogus email
It is possible that the sender of the email is a virus on Kim's computer. If so, then this kind of email may continue from her new address, if she changes her address.
I suggested that she check for viruses. But, I don't know if she did that. She doesn't always respond to email from me.
