District 9 Tournament Results!!!

Post by Eric Strange »

We had a poor turnout for the district 9 tournament on the count of bad weather but everyone still had a lot of fun. John cardie even got into an accident on the drive up but still made it.

We split the tournament into 2 divisions, master and minors. minors played gayp and masters played 3-move.

For the Minors we had a 3 way tie between all parties ending at 2 losses and 2 draws for each person involved.

Womans champ - Laurie Strange (new ACF member) 4 points - Colorado
Minors champ - Ryan Fridmanis (new ACF member) 4 points - Colorado
Youth champ - Conrad cardie - 4 points - Colorado

For the masters we had some great games unfortunately John Cardie had to leave early which added in some byes.

1st place - Eric Strange - 19 points - 6-0-4 - Colorado
2nd place - Bob Murr - 13 points - 4-4-2 - Colorado
3rd place - Ray Dionisio - 12 points - 3-4-3 - Illinois
4th Place - John Cardie - 1 point - 0-5-1 - Colorado

Thanks to everyone who was able to make it to the tournament and those of you who tried and got stopped by the horrible ice storm.
