District 8 and Texas Open

Post by waynegober »

Hi All,

I was tired before and during this tournament and didn't look at the scoresheet during or after the tournament.
Only know the top 3 for sure.

Wayne Gober 20 points
Albert Tucker 17 (Probably 2nd as I had two rounds with him and only 1 with Ed)
Ed King 17

It was a good tournament and had 14 players all in one division this year. Good food and good times.

Those of you who have never been to Texas Open combined with District 8 should make plans for next year. Would love to have you. Couldn't get Justin to go as he was busy with what young men are usuallly busy with ... LIFE hehe. However he claimed joint title with me as we had 4 drawn games when I got home.

Congrats to Wayne for representing Oklahoma and taking district 8 where it belongs! Wish I could have been there to help.
