Good Morning Tom,

Sincere apologies for not coming back to you earlier....

I have now clarified the rates and occupancies per your request for Family Rooms as follows:

The Family Room can accommodate up to 2 Adults and 2 Children and including Breakfast this would cost €115.00 per night including tax.

Tom, these rooms are subject to availability and can be booked with my colleagues at the Hotel on 00 353 1 8446000 or if in fact you wish me to make any bookings for you, I am more than happy to do this.

On a separate note, if you have any further queries or if there is anything I can help with, please contact me in the first instance.

I see from the earlier correspondence in this email with yourself and Sean there is a mis-digit in my telephone number.....Just for clarification I can be contacted at 00 353 86 8773196.

I look forward to hearing with you and welcoming you to the Hotel in October.

Best Regards Aisling.............................

Hi Tommy,

I was disappointed when I read the list you presented as it did not mention the best two Welsh players – Dafydd Roberts and Terry Thomas. No offence intended of course to my good friend John Morgan who will, I am sure, do well in the qualifying tournament at Dublin. Hopefully Dafydd and Terry will enter soon. Good luck to all contestants.

Neither of these are on John Reades official nomitation list as presented, but i suppose there is still one spot left alongside John Morgan.

Germany will nominate IM Igor Martynov (German Champion 2010) and Thomas Wien.
Both also plan to attend the Irish Open.

I persume there are even more nominations, but not all WCDF dues had been paid properly when the list above was made ( I have to apologize to my own players but Germany is among them).

And some players may be interested from countries that are not members of the WCDF yet.
I heard for instance that Mikhail Shabshai was interested.

Also, due to my experience, I believe that some nominated players may not show up, and that there could be late nominations or further starters from the hosting country.

Anyway, it looks like an interesting and strong event.
Ron King will always be the favorite in any event he attends, so that question is also easy to answer.

I hope that Ireland also nominated a woman player and that there will be a women's event.

Greetinx from cloudy Germany,

Ingo Zachos
