"Advertised But It Never Was"--answer

In the late 1930's this edition of a very famous British draughts book was advertised, but it was never published. "Checker Trivia question of the Day". What was the name of that book? (Cont.)

This was one of several checker books that were advertised forsale over the years, but never became a reality--"British Draughts Player"--4th edition. (Cont.)
