To find out - who is the best fastest player in OH in 2010. Also - for fun. All other form of games play have blitz events and titles, aren't we good enough ?

I just received a board warning for a post I made in MY OWN topic.... Yup... That does it.... screw this forum.... I wont be posting here anymore.... Tired of all of you old stubborn players anyways... go ahead and keep letting the ACF die the way it has been for years... None of you care because your gonna be dead before it matters... Screw this game.... I quit! Deuces

Agreed Josh, These young lads know where Kurnick is. It is really quite simple for them to meet there and organise a tournament on whatever format they wish. To me it is more sensible than trying to get veteran players to adapt to their way of thinking.

Eric is a fine checker player across the board, both 3 move and GAYP. I have never played a blitz or on line game with him, only crossboard. He is the current Colorado state champ and certainly deserves the title. I do not wish to see him leave the game.
I think he has many good ideas that at least deserve consideration.

Thanks.

Alan........IS the ACF so slow that you could not even respond to his questions????? Your lack of response to some of the ideas presented here recently greatly adds to the frustration of any young or women players wanting to get involved with ACF. We have just seen what the ACF can and does do, to young an women players on a regular basis, over the past few years. You could have at least said while that is a good idea the ACF can not do it for so and so reason. At least treat our youth and women with dignity.

Hello Everyone, Guys come on now checkers been around what a million years and this year its going to die if we dont play a tournament online?? Why dont this idea get under way people have tons of tournaments online. The thing is ACF can't be involved its suppose to represent professional game play. How are you suppose to move up if we go backwards. Hmm lets put the training wheels back on the bike. And having webcams watching people and all this tenchnology to try to keep people from cheating online its just a hassle. Alan probably did not reply not cause he is slow but maybe he didnt like the idea and hopes it goes away. Anyways guys look at both points of view. Billy

For anyone wishing to get away from the Blitzkreig, (reminds me of the good old days of the BBS. I wonder if George Miller is out there looking in. Come back George - all is forgiven !) go to the Games Section and see a previously unpublished Tinsley game.

OMG Alan, The juveniles have not uttered a sound today, nor the seniorsfor that matter, until now!! Maybe your presence on the forum should be more frequent. (Though no doubt you have other things to attend to in your daily life.) I appreciate your efforts to make this forum a more civilised place to visit.

Hello Mr. Coll:

Fruitful discussions to promote Checkers/Draughts are always most welcome on the ACF Forum.

To disagree is also fine :-) Usually I try to let things run their course.................. At times that does not happen and someone has to say something to quell the diatribe.

I try and read most postings and for myself try not to post replies all the time just to be seen .

Any forum members who see something that is in possible question ---- please email me and let me know.
