Standing Position: after 8 rounds of Swiss 3-move (2.5 hrs per Round)
Total Points X Alphabetical Last Name

1. John Webster - Stoneville, NC 23*
2. Bill Salot - Colonial Heights, VA 21
3. Teal Stanley - Greensboro, NC 20
4. Mike Ross - Burlington, NC 19
5. Bill McClintock - Greensboro, NC 18
6. Ted Taylor - North Tazewell, VA 17
7. Buck Smith - Millboro, VA 15
8. JR Smith - Greensboro, NC 15
9. Trey Stanley - Greensboro, NC 15
10. Tom Taylor - Princeton, WV 15
11. James Atkins - Julian, NC 14
12. Bill Stanley - Greensboro, NC 12
13. Lovetta Currence - Bluefield, WV 9
* at the end of round 7 Webster had accumulated 23 points and no one could catch him so Referee gave him a bye and he departed as winner of the tournament.

Absolutely fantastic scoop JH................wonderful in the extreme, to capture such folk lore of draughts and Alf Jordan.
