Lubabalo Kondlo 2011 ACF Nationals Fund

Hello Checker/Draughts players :

Over this past week-end I recieved an email from Mr. Jim Loy suggesting we raise money to get Kondlo here next year for our GAYP Nationals and offered $ 100.00 towards that goal.

So far we have other pledges:

Victor Niederhoffer : $100.00
Alan Millhone $100.00
John Acker $20.00
Gary Jenkins $50.00

This will be the only way we will ever get this top rated GM back to one of our Nationals. In the township where Kondlo lives it is estimated 60% unemployment ! Lubabalo is a dues paid member of the ACF . I will ask our webmaster or Dr. Beckwith to create a 'button' on our ACF store for those wanting to donate by " Paypay " for his trip over next year. If the idea fails, all monies will be refunded. I will personally see he gets his Visa,etc. if he gets to attend.

Your support is much appreciated. Lubabalo has a laptop that a player donated to him last year. He does not have at home internet access as it cost $12.00 per month ! Are you talking of a disc of materials that can be sent to him ? Lubabalo appreciates anything sent to him for study. When one has little to no resources ------- anything is appreciated.

A donation button should be up on our ACF on line store soon for Kondlo donations. Otherwise for simplicity I will ask Dr. Beckwith to accept all donations and keep track of donors and their addresses.
