Ingo, Is the answer not self explanatory? No access to information on games in hand should be allowed until completion of BOTH games. Stops any allegations of cheating.

Here in Oklahoma there was always a Lees Guide and Kears in the 2nd stall of the mens restroom. Didn't matter much, most pages had been torn out already :)

what? no Cannings Compilation.
Go out and buy one, throw away the Lees and the Kears.

Joking aside:

numbered board are to be recommended. There are World Champions who are irritated by numbers, but having seen his score sheets on a board without, I would say he was trying hard to distinguish one square from another. And they make it easier to analyze in the toilets.

Greetinx from square 11 to square 18,

TO ALL THE HIGH LEVEL CHECKERS PLAYERS: ATTENTION, THIS IS A POLL, IF WHAT HAPPENED TO KIMMY HAD HAPPENED TO YOU.....WHAT WOULD YOU HAD DONE????

1.- YOU WOULD'NT SAY A WORD, MAYBE SHE HAD TO CHANGE CLOTHS...
2.- YOU WOULD TELL THE REFEREE JUST TO INFORM HIM.....
3.- YOU WOULD ACCEPT WHAT THE REFEREE ANSWERED: GO TO PLAY AND GIVE YOUR BEST!!!

AM VERY SURE ABOUT YOUR ANSWER.....THE NUMBER 3!!!.....NO?????

What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.

Obviously I am not promoting more arguments and/or heated discussions. but what are you guys talking about?
It sounds to me like a specific event, rather than a hypothetical one....

D. Alvarez

PS I think a toilet break should be acceptable but i wouldnt like to see the use of any materials until the second game is finished.
Just my humble opinion. otherwise in 3-move it wouldnt be fair.

Hi, Irma !

I've being in this situation several times - when referee did something which i beleive is improper. Then I usually submit a protest - formal written or unformal verbal - and wait when it's resolve or at least review. Referee word for me is always final and nothing to discuss after this

However ... one of the option and argument I awalys have - quit an event.

Concerning the story happened in woman QT in Dublin ... it was a full and complete fault of Controller with whom Mrs. Toyeva spoke and he didn't understand what she said.

Ok, I will waste one brain cell !!! Lock all doors till a round is complete (both sides must be completed in 3 move). Oh ya, must have porta potty in corner of room with vent for smoking !!

2 cells will get you a real dandy answer :)
