I would like to see 'fast reply' option.
This topic holds my previous suggestions that were implemented.

Re: Forum Upgraded
Yes, fast reply would be nice.
There are a few other mods i plan to implement as well (spellcheck for example). Firstly though i want to get it back to where it was before.

Re: Forum Upgraded
Jason, I would like to see the 'delete' own posts option. I think this relieves the mods of some work as logical users will sometimes desire a removal of a post rather than editing/replacing with something close to null. I also like this feature to be able to bump a thread without double posting.

Re: Forum Suggestions
Matthew,
I highly doubt delete will be re-implemented. In the few days it was activated we lost a lot of posts. It was even suggested to remove the edit feature because several posters here could not use it responsibly.
There's just too many people at this forum who would abuse that feature, posting something, then readily deleting it. I hope that i am wrong and it can be re-added at some time, but don't keep your hopes up.

Re: Forum Suggestions
heh Jason, makes no sense why some people would choose to abuse those two things. Thanks though man; I understand. Chess environment experience these silly problems too?
Alex, I never knew that. I didn't fully understand it.

Fantastic !!! I know - you are very intelligent and clever man, although well educated. My translation was accurate enough.
Hmmm .... quote has three parts. Which particular one you don't understand the meaning ? I'll try to put here some explanation, to the best of my broken English ...
1. Clear hands
This means that you are doing right things in right (clear) way. In other words - if your goal is very good and respectable, but the way you accomplish it - not very good, this way cannot be accepted. For instance - fight with crime. if you want to find one crime, and put in jail 10 people - this is wrong ... etc Just an example (in fact KGB had very dirty hands)
2. Cold head
Don't let emotions take control on you. Everything you are doing is logical and reasonable
3. Hot heart.
The main idea (communism) is always with you in your heart and direct you in all your life.
Is it a bit more clear, Matthew ?
Regards,
Alex

Thanks for making it off clear; I didn't mean for this to go off topic here though. I like reading your thread on Russian phrases -- interesting readings
I would say here in the states to find a crime and put 10 people in jail is thought of as a success.

KGB would have called it a success, though
