Our prime minister is in DC to meet with President Obama and address a joint sitting of Congress.

Is there any way that the american senate can pass a law to keep her in America ???
we can gift her to you :D

This is what the majority in OZ thinks of Dear Julia

http://www.news.com.au/national/voters- ... 6017206668

If we did a poll for "lets giver her to America" the YES would win by a landslide.
She is no Sara Palin ROFL, but surely she's better looking than Hillary!!!!

Keep her, PLEASE

You can tell we are very silly ..... if we do a PR stunt (shouldnt be too hard with Charlie's behaviour) we could make some money :)

We (the australian government) have paid in excess of 2 million for Oprah to come along here and "promote" our beautiful country.
We have paid Tiger Woods 1 million on 2 occasions, one before and one after his philandering scandal....

My thinking is if we paid Tiger, surely Charlie Sheen has a chance to get 900,000 :) we can be his managers for this ill fated enterprise and get 20% :P

Julia Gillard is being received and treated like a rock star after her address at congress

http://www.bordermail.com.au/blogs/nati ... torypage=0

What nobody has hinted at yet is that she "almost" plagiarized (i am a black and white principles person, and i believe that plagiarism is like being pregnant, you are or you are not.... no in between) Bono in a U2 concert back in 2005. Maybe our journalists are getting old and havent seen that concert.... but when she talked about "man landing on the moon and thinking americans can do anything.... and today she still has the same belief" (i put it in quotes to summarize her idea, cause i dont have the speech word for word) that is almost exactly what Bono said 5 years earlier.

to her credit she brought tears to both republicans and democrats and she got a standing ovation from all....
here at home her carbon-emissions scheme is eroding her popularity to say the least...

I'll see if i can find the speech and Bono's concert in youtube.

cheers
