and then I will be rooting for an American to win the GAYP QT in Italy in October! --George Hay

champion374, if you mean the GAYP Tournament in Italy along side the QT, then it looks like Dr. B would be the contact person, this is cut and paste from the Tournament Announcements:

GAYP Open & World Qualifying Tournament
The GAYP Open & World Qualifying Tournament will be held October 17th - 22nd , 2011 in Nyala hotel, San Remo, Italy . The WCDF has awarded the 2011 World GAYP Qualifier Bid to Italy to be held October 17-22 in San Remo, Italy at the Nyala hotel (www.nyalahotel.com). In addition to the 4-day qualifier (19th-22nd), a separate 2-day GAYP Open tournament will take place on 17th and 18th. The Qualifier tournament is restricted to two representatives (not counting women and youth) per federation or association who have paid their WCDF affiliation dues. The USA will be represented (so far) by Richard Beckwith (WCDF), Jim Morrison & Joe Schwartz (ACF) and John Webster (ICHF).

The preceding two-day event is an Open tournament, so it's hard to say who all will be there. Some qualifier participants may use it as a warm-up. Other players can use the opportunity to enter if they will not play in the qualifier.

*sigh* It would be so nice to visit San RRRRRRRRRRRRemo (yes you gotta roll the R and i personally delight in doing so at every single oppoRRRtunity)
I was in Venezia, Roma, Genoa & Sicilia with my family last year and i have fallen in love with Italia I have included a photo, in it you can see my 2 daughters, my wife, and my father (my mum was taking the picture).... this is us in the Grand Canal last September.
