- What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.

Nice pictures.
I think Bernard should play 1.8-11 in the last picture, and after 1. .. 22-18, 2.13-17 23-19, 3. 14x23 27x18, 4. 17-22 19-15 he should be much better in the ending.
Nice line to remember, Bernard.
As for the shirts, Jay.
Just ask Donald Oliphant.

The game did continue with 8-11,then 23-19, 1-5, 19-15, and White eventually won.
Bernard Coll v Sean Phillips.

Thx Liam,
I did not know which game it was ...
I think 2.1-5 is bad and 2. 1-6 is better to stop the advancing man on 15 and to put pressure on the double corner side of white like that:
2. 1-6 19-15, 3. 11x18 22x15, 4. 7-10 15-11, 5. 10-15! forcing white to crown on 4, and going for a king with 15-19- 24 etc.
If 5. ... 32-28 to stop that, 6. 15-19 creates the threat to play 14-18 and then cut the man on 27, which 25-22 wont stop as 6-10, 10-15 reknews the cut threat, this time to the man on 22, and the king on 4 is helpless against that.
