So while I have done this once before while working in mental health, it was mainly for fun and a bunch of kids responded which is what I wanted, some with grandparents. One man showed up at my agency with a funny looking board. He wanted to play me, who grew up with a red and black board and playing as kids do. His board was green and buff. He has glossy, marble feeling checkers, and taught me that I didn't have any idea how to play, but we did have fun.
I want to set up two tables with timers for those experienced players who would enjoy that more. Funding that might be an issue, but I'd still like to know. I also need some boards. I can buy the red and black boards, but after a very nice guy here offered to buy some, well I can say this group has funds to buy red and black boards about 6. each. The group who this immediatley benefits is FOAK, Friends of AMazing Kids, who in turn purchase needs for the Autism group in HAnover PA. Last year they bought a van. Federal funding as many know is not waht it once was, So The Amazing Kids Club in Hanover PA. receives most ofit's help for FOAK. kool huh?
I am making a few boards as prizes and a table or two-not perfect here-but close-well...Any suggestions, help etc will be gratefully appreciated. Thanks You, Checkerboardz4u-oh can anyone tell me how to put an avatar up-I need to make mine smaller and don't have the
