Details on Ed Gilbert website.

You can find here detail description of product and sale information. I personally using for my needs Kingsrow International version of program since 2007 with 7 pieces ending database, but this release is certainly a giant step forward bringing it to professional level.

Best 10x10 program today in my eyes.

I will certainly buy a new KRI version which should greatly help me with my composition work.
I am playing checkers, not chess.

Mr. Alex, thanx for this topic. I like your world perspective on checkers. I am very impressed with Ed Gilbert going from a world class Anglo-American Checkers program to a world class International Checkers program. For "cross-training" I like to play Veldheer, a beginners' program with four levels of 10x10 International Checkers from KNDB. As a fan I will be following the 10x10 World Championship hosted by KNDB celibrating their centennial, as well as Mr. Alex vs Super Miki. I will be rooting for you! --George Hay

Kingsrow International is one of two computer programs used in the Gibo World Championship Draughts 2011 taking place in the Netherlands in May. The 20 contestants play 10 games a day, and 19 rounds for the tournament. As they play Kingsrow and Sjende Blyn analyze the games. A plus means white is ahead, while a minus means black is ahead. A checker man is assigned a value of one. This is very impressive live analysis! --George Hay

Yes...seems like the players and organizers take the game seriously and put a great deal of effort into "profesionalizing" their game.
Thanx for the info...and Happy (belated)Birthday.....

Thanks Jay, I share a birthday (May 10) with Ken Grover. In the Netherlands they are throwing a Big Birthday Bash for KNDB. 10x10=100 Years of KNDB, the Royal Dutch Dambond. Gibo is an accounting firm and the main sponsor of the World Championship. Among the prestigious sponsors is ACF of Emmerloord, an ITC firm. That Kingsrow International is one of two computer programs used in the World Championship Tournament is very prestigious in itself! --George Hay
