I just got home from a visit with my buddy Earl Hangen...who is celebrating his 84th birthday today....here is a photo for all his old friends who frequent the ACForum....
If I ain't yelling too loudly on the subject, and at the risk of sounding like a "whiney, blah, blah mouthed" person....I would like to wish Earl a Happy 84th birthday

I will be forever grateful for all the years of hard work you devoted to the game of Checkers, especially while serving as the ACF Mail Play Director for so long.
Many thanks also for the very gracious and classy manner in which you always put up with me, especially during all of my disputes with one of my fiercest and most worthy rivals, Matt T. Long, God rest his soul.
The games you and I played against each other, and all of the correspondence we shared together, shall remain as cherished memories for as long as I live.
