Re the list of Tournaments. A couple of the Irish tournaments seem to have got mixed up.
The two identified as:
2009 NORTHERN IRELAND OPEN INTERMEDIATE I
2009 NORTHERN IRELAND OPEN INTERMEDIATE 2
were in fact from the ALL IRELAND OPEN 2007 at BUNCRANA. - 27th to 31st October 2007.

This is how it was displayed in cross tables in both excel sheets and on NCCheckers.org. I can easily change the title name of the tournament. So what should I change the name to?

Hi Eric,
It should be changed to:
2007 IRISH OPEN INTERMEDIATE 1 - BUNCRANA - 27-31 Oct
2007 IRISH OPEN INTERMEDIATE 2 - BUNCRANA - 27-31 Oct
It will not affect the ratings, of course.
If there are any other Irish Tournaments you require crosstables for I can send you copies.
Regards - Liam Stephens

are u positive this was a 2007 tournament? I just don't see how a mistake like that could have happened... not trying to insult your knowledge or intelligence.liam stephens wrote:Hi Eric,

Yes, I am fully certain those 2 sets of Intermediate results came from the 2007 Irish Open in Buncrana.
Alex could confirm that - he was there.
In fact there is no Intermediate section in the Northern Ireland Open - only Masters and Seniors.
I think what probably happened was that the Northern Ireland 2009 results were copied using the same template as for the Irish Open 2007, but it was forgotten to delete the Intermediate Results from Irish Open 2007 which were on a separate set of pages, so these got repeated.
Have a look at the Crosstables section of the Museum of Checkers site under Irish Tournaments where you will find the full 2007 Irish Open crosstables. They are given there as Intermediates A and B (instead of 1 and 2)
