It is official I will be going to nationals. I am trying to find good prices on plane tickets right now.
I am up for sharing a room with someone who smokes and my biggest question of all.
Who is driving that can pick me up from the hopkins intl airport on the 24th. I also need to know what time the blitz tournament will be on the 24th? So I can be sure I get an early enough flight to make it.

Well I take it back
might not make it to nationals this year. I cannot find plane tickets for less than 400 dollars!!!
It sucks but I guess that is life. I had been planning to go since January but with life in the way I just cannot afford to spend 800 dollars on going. I wish all that go good fortune and hope that the blitz tournament is a hit!!!
We only have a couple tournaments left to finish 2009 and start calculating 2010!!! My goal is to get us up to current by the time nationals start. My buddy that has been working on a checkers play site has also kicked into gear and is making quick progress on it. I may have an official ACF playing site sooner than you think. With that in mind I am sure we can have some legit online tournaments for ACF members to participate in.

Eric,
You might try Akron-Canton airport (CAK). Not sure if it's any better, but it might be. Cleveland airport is more geared to Continental-United, whereas the Akron airport has other carriers.
Medina is in between the two airports, but a little closer to CLE.

Thanks rich, yes I was searching akron because it was a bit cheaper than CLE but that's where the 400 dollars came from. I searched for a good 2 weeks trying to find that magnificent deal which never came haha.
