Ratings and Games Update!!!!

We have finished calculating ratings for 2009 and will start on 2010 soon. Once again my goal to have ratings updated before nationals!!!

I also added a little treat to my checkers pages I thought many of you would be interested in :)

I added goulds memorable matches, sinclairs and Hays.

I ALSO ADDED 2007 AND 2009 GAYP NATIONALS GAMES TO THE OCA DATABASE PORTION OF MY SITE. STUDY UP ON YOUR OPPONENTS AND BE PREPARED.

I was holding onto those until after so I had a leg up but since I am not going. I figured you all would enjoy it.

I think that would be a great idea. Now what about players who fall into a low rating area but have won previous minors or majors tournaments?

We have updated rating page so that we have an "Inactive Player List" so you can see how good all those players who have quit were.
I also put kurnik games drop down into alphabetical order.

another exciting edition, that will apply to some of you

My coder was able to make a page on my website update kurnik ratings for id's we put in the list in real time. So I can have a top 50 or 100 kurnik players in real time and remove cheaters and stuff like that at my own convenience.

Jay, I am not a decendant of William Hay, author of The Game Of Draughts published in 1838. W. Hay, like Andrew Anderson, was an early checkers author from Scotland. I like to think of myself as a distant relation to W. Hay...and Colin Hay of Men At Work (lol). --George Hay
