What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.

you did it wrong, you shoulda done it like this, you are a good for nothing so and so....

don't listen to them and keep doing...

I've not done any problem selection. The front page problems were never my work. Archie did them for a long time, then Alex did them for a while. Now Josh(or Jolt?) has been doing them for probably about 2 years now.

If anyone had a stockpile of problems in PDN format, I could pull a random one out each week like I do with the weekly games though....

Hello Josh:

Your comment is in poor taste. I have moved two topics to " Broken Boards " tonight.

A forum code of ethics, etc. will be posted soon. I dislike having to baby sit the forum but will if all the tirades persist.

Many might also do some soul searching and ask , " what have you done for the ACF lately and the game of Checkers/Draughts ?

Personal attacks have no place on the forum.

Eric has a fine web site and forum and welcomes you there with any comment you care to make.

The ACF site / forum is to promote the game.

Hello Alan,

I noticed you are back in circulation. Know you are tired from a long week of Nationals.
I have emailed you 2 or 3 different ways now with no reply and wondered if you have recieved them.

1. June bulletin has not arrived.

2. My name is still on a list from an outside group of whom I want no association. I consider them to be a very very rude and obnoxious group. I simply do not want my name on the list and have been told I have no control of that because I play online. This is an ACF forum and the OCF shouldn't be posting their lists here to begin with.

3. I have been told that one member of the exec. committe has equated my posts as same with the crude and rude posts from members of the aforementioned group and that there was a possibility of myself being included in a ban with them.

4. This group laughs with impunity that they can do as they please without reprimand or ban ect.

5. Is Chee an ACF member? If not, then what in the world is going on here.

Once again, asking that my name be removed from the offensive list and that these questions be answered.

Best Regards,
Wayne Gober

Hello Wayne:

Yes, I had a great week at Nationals. I took a beating , but had a great time !

1. Will send you your June issue shortly. My apologies.

2. Your name on a list ? Can you send me a copy of this list ?

3. Who told you this ? You can email me in private or call me anytime. I received your emails while I was out of town.

4. I can delete everyone and start over ? Too many seem to have many an axe to grind .

5. Due to privacy I cannot openly give out ACF information due to privacyconcerns and am sure you would agree ?

Sincerely:
