Danny, I like your link as it is a very good summary of the S&P downgrade of U.S. Government Securities. I heard two economists on the radio today, on the one hand the one economist was pessimistic, on the other hand the other economist was optimistic. With all that is going on in the world economy today, I would think it would be difficult to tell how much influence the S&P downgrade has on interest rates on U.S. Government Securities, but it can't be good!

I personally think the credit downgrade could have been avoided.... but i think the republican members decided to teach the president a lesson.... i am not sure i agree with their strategy but it is done now.
i am not a political person although the subject fascinates me.
hard work is what got us out of the 30's depression and i think that it can also get us out of this one.
