This match looks like its on course to become the shortest Women's WC match on record, potentially beating the Breen-Caws (1993) record of just 14 games. Clearly Amangul is playing to a very high standard. As to donations people can still send to any member of the WCDF Executive Board. Gamnes will be distributed to all donors of £10, E15, or $20.

9 game - draw. 10th game - Hurmagul Toyeva won. Hoja said that in slight better drawn ending Amangul tried to win and made a horrible blunder. Amangul won games 11 and 12.

Total score 19-5

Openings:

03.08.2011 1)10-15, 23-18, 7-10 2)11-15, 21-17, 15-19
04.08.2011 1)10-15, 23-19, 6-10 2)10-14, 22-18, 12-16
05.08.2011 1)9-14, 22-17, 5-9 2)10-15, 21-17, 6-10

Yes, it could be less of 14 games or even.

Go Hurmagul! Almost no one expected you to win a game, and you did it! As New York Yankee Yogi Berra would say "It ain't over till it's over." --George Hay

Hoja said that photos will be sended in the next few days.

On closing ceremony both players, champion and challenger sent "thanks letter" to WCDF and TNDC (Turkmenuistan National Draughts Federation) for organising good event in friendly atmosphere to satisfaction of both players.

I am glad to see that title remains in good hands and woman checkers have a right leader - best player and person. Congratulations to both players, organisers and Amangul personally for defending title.

One more thing ... never mind

Yes, an impressive performance from Amangul and congatulations to Hurmangul on her challenge. A new record has been set, match ended after 13th game. This was also the first all female match, as we had a female referee and assistant referee officiating.

Little bit math and history ...

Amangul slightly improved Marion Tinsley result in 1979 WCM with Elbert Lowder, where M. Tisnley won 15 games and 10 draws, which gave him 40 points out of 50 - 80%. Amangul gets 21 points out of 26 games, 80.7%

Typical one side match. There were several such 3-moves WCM matches. I consider match as "one side" if the difference between wins and losses for one player is 10 or more wins.

Alex, Obviously the penny has not dropped within your mindset yet. The silence is totally defeaning within this thread regards outcome of Women's match. Your pathetic attempt at presenting statistics obviously means absolutely NOTHING! You have already become recognised as the most despicable posters within the ACF AND the most despised checker champion in history.

Congratulations to Amangul in retaining her title in the WCDF Women's World Championship. Congratulations to Hurmagul in playing in her first title match. Like Rich Beckwith, you have won a game in your first title match. You are in good company!

Bernard you couldnt a said a truer word ,i certainly agree. And im fed up with some posters giving Moiseyev the softly softly treatment. Be a man and stop lickin him up any more.He is definitely the worst mannered champion ever to the point of being IGNORANT.

No one cares much who wins the upcoming match as there is little interest in it mostly due to Moiseyevs behaviour!!
