What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.

Michele Borghetti and Maurizio De Leo arrived at airport last night after a weather-related flight cancellation in New York on the 9th. I joined them for dinner and brought them to their hotel.

Carlo Bordini also sent me some links from the Italian sites and wrote:

On the site of the FID (http://www.fid.itor http://www.federdama.it) you can see the reference to the link of match website. You can se also some Italian newspaper that talk about the Match. The (pink) "Gazzetta dello Sport" is the best and most sold Italian sport journal.

Richard, you are right, Gazetta dello Sport is a massively important publication and it is great to see the match getting such large press overseas...
congratulations to all involved FID, ACF, WCDF ...

Game 2, Moiseyev's 13th move..did he really spend 20 minutes on this, or did someone forget to make the move at Goldtoken...?

Need to "tighten it up" a little bit fellas.....Goldtoken is at times 5-6 moves behind, and most time I can only see Borghetti's half of the board.
The world is watching.....make it count....

JohnAcker wrote:We're working on it, Jay. There was a series of several fast moves toward the end of the first time control on G2, so it took me a while to catch up. As to the camera, I think we'll make some placement adjustments after this game to ensure more consistency. Right now it's on the same table as the board, so when there's a lot of table movement the angle switches. Also, I have to keep the camera plugged into my laptop, so sometimes I bump the cord by mistake.
gotcha !!!
Allinall, an excellent production....just knock out these little bugs and make it a perfect production....
AA++ so far, keep up on GT and center the stream, and it will be AAA+++...it don't get any better than that.....

Now there's an idea for a tiebreaker. Alex would still win though!

Emphasis added....
is this your official prediction for the outcome...?
