are there any checkers and boards available??? it says discontinued on the checkers...on the ACF store
I would like to send the payment but there's no point in doing so if i have to wait indefinitely....
I would like to pay for a board + crisloid checkers + a small donation for the match....
( i think Doctor Acker's effort are worth paying for.... the match coverage has been world class, if u havent thought of making a donation please reconsider!!!)
do i need to send 3 different payments or one will do?
cheers
Danny

- What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.

Danny,
See attached link for announcement (and alternatives) on this issue:

We still have boards for sale on equipment page. Roger Blaine also has some older scattered sets he might privately sell.
Kim Willis is working with an outfit (not Crisloid) near her who we are hopeful will be able to resume production of checker pieces for us, but we are not ready to put items up for sale here yet (might be a while). But Kim sounded optimistic at Nationals that this firm could work out for us.
Danny, I really appreciate your comment about making a match donation, which is much needed from the checker community, although I realize this may not be possible for every one, given the economy.
There may be some small "Paypal fee" efficiency if you can add all items into one cart (one transaction with 2-3 entries), but not a big deal to do whatever is convenient for you.
