points after 2 rounds tonight MASTERS. round 3 will be played on thursday night 2 rounds per night one of the toughest barbados nationals in a long time. a note Ron king has never lost a tourdament in barbados he has won over 300 tourdaments and over 10 nationals.

By the way may name is kent layne i came 2nd to clayton nash in the world junior champion in barbados.i also placed 6th in the irish open majors 2004 on 16 points.

i played in the usa open in 1999 when i was 14 years old in the majors placed 6 out of 13 on 16 points. came 4th in the irish open minors in 2005 on 19 points

we have one lady player Wilma branch she came 2nd in the wQT in china.

the majors championship is small but good players.

i hope the wcdf follows these cross tables that i have put up so barbados players can improve there Rateings.my good friend Ingo Zachos was a big help telling me i should but up the results here.


i did not want to go the long route of emails so i post them here on this site.i am looking to improve my Rateings.

i may go to Ireland this year to play in the irish open in which i will play in the masters.

plus i wanted the whole world to see our tourdament.

jack is a very good player he came 2nd in this years usa tourdament.but my money is on king to win and Rawle williams to place 2nd.

my money is on my self to win the Majors kent ,,Ace Layne there is a king and a jack already

Barbados is a strong checker nation.
The results of your nationals should be known, not just to the WCDF, but to the whole checker/draughts commumity.

Seems like it is a very strong event.
Even the majors may better then many "masters" event in the rest of the world.

Keep up the good work, and good luck to you , Ron King, Jack Francis, and all bajan checker players to find sponsors to make the trip to the QT in San Remo.

i see darwin lord of barbados is 8th over all in the rateings list and listed as a IM is this correct?

when asking Darwin he was surprise him self he told me he played in two usa national but did not get in the top 4.

i hope the wcdf go over the Rateing with a fine tooth comb lol.

I think the SECRET of the ratings once you get there......Dont play and your ratings stay high.

our next round is on thursday. we playting thursdays nights and on sundays.

guys have to work lol. i will keep u updated on thursday which round 3 and 4 starts.
