Looking for roomate. Smoking person is preferable but not 100% must request
Checkers players must be very healthy and wealthy to pay $90 per night

Re: Indiana & District 6
I can confirm with 99.99% possibility that I am coming to this event if no serious emergency things (cross fingers!) stop me doing this. I can't miss a party and want to thanks Michael Holmes for organising (and suspect -sponsoring fully or partially) this event.
Lets make a party !
I just checked Mapquest today and surprisingly find out that it takes less than 4 hours driving from my house staying mainly on road 71 all way down to south. It's IN state but in reality - few miles away of Louisvile !
Respectfully,
Alex Moiseyev

Re: Indiana & District 6
I understand from Michael that... Millhone and Moiseyev are coming to the D6 tournament. It's either this tournament or Gerry Lopez's District 9.
NC group should know shortly which tournament we will attend.

Re: Indiana & District 6
Just made reservation for one smoking room, two beds for me and Mark Sokolowsky. $79.95 rate is definetely much better than $89.95

I'm disapointed that this year I will have to miss the tournament. Next weekend I have to be in Chicago for a family wedding. I wish I could be there and will be looking forward to next year's tourney.
Good luck to everyone and lets us know how everything goes.

Hey J.R.,
Thanks for posting, only wish I could be there. I'm on the outskirts of Chicago and using the motel's computer.
I hope you are having a good tournament, it's a kick in the head to have you come to the Indiana tournament and me not be able to be there.
Looks like the Sixth District is best represented by the Buckeye State with 3 players from Ohio. I'm glad to see that Mark came and look forward to seeing him at more tournaments.
I see that only 2 Indiana players made it. Good luck to both Denny and young Alex and may the better player win. Will be interesting to see their score sheets.

Re: Indiana & District 6
I didn't lose any single game but Michael Holmes had me in lost in Twilight Zone ... again !!! Grrr
White to move and win.

A. Moiseyev vs M. Holmes, Rd3, G1
Under time pressure and move per minute conditions, Michael played here 10-7? which leaded only to unfortunate draw after 26-30, 7-3, 11-15, 20x11, 30-25. Win was pretty but we both didn't see it during the game.
White to move and draw.

A. Moiseyev vs A. Millhone, Rd. 5, G1
The only draw here was curious 15-10, 7x14, 27-23, 18x27, 31x15, 1-6, 26-22 (or 28-24 first), 2-7, 28-24 etc Draw
Anything else in position on diagram loses for white. Alan Millhone played here 27-23 and lost after 18x27, 31x24, 1-6, 25-22, 7-10, 22-18, 2-7 etc Red Wins
