First 3 were Lindus Edwards, Brian Lucas, Colin Young. We had 14 players so did a round robin. No Irish came this year!

Lindus, congratulations on winning the Welsh Open 2011. I know last year you were edged out by honor points, so this year's victory must be sweet indeed! --George Hay

Many thanks to all for the kind words. There were no Irish players in the Welsh Open this year I regret to say.
We missed you all. I was lucky to win it.

What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.

You are far too humble... there isn't much luck involved in checkers
