There is a good chance for tie for 1st place by Ron King and Richard Beckwith. So far they both had three draws only, one among each other and both of them drewed games against Italian's: Sergio Scarpetta and Roberto Tovagliaro

Ron played to darws in Rounds 8 (Roberto) and 9 (Sergio), Richard drewed his games in Rounds 2 (Roberto) and 3 (Sergio).

Not sure if Ingo posted, but Ron and I both won our last games to finish tied for 1st place. Scarpetta was third. Tournament was round-robin. Awards ceremony is in two hours.

Rich, you should have won the tourney as Robert Tovagliaro had Ron King in a loss but missed the win in the ending and King drew.

All the best,
Mac

What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.
