"It Been Around for 50 Years"--answer
And it is still going strong today. "Checker Trivia question of the Day". Many of our newer checker players found this book to be very helpful in starting out in checkers? (Cont.)

Re: "It Been Around for 50 Years"
I'm not sure about this one. "How to win at Checkers" (1957) by Fred Reinfeld is still going strong today and is a good book for beginners but it's only been around for 49 years, so it comes up one year short.
"Win at Checkers" by Millard Hopper (1956) has been around for 50 years and I'm sure it's been helpful to many of the newer players starting out, but it's the same book as "All the Answers on the Art of Successful Checker Playing" (1941) by millard Hopper, so we could say it's been around for 65 years.

BTW,
Ron ("Suki") King was born in 1956 at St. George's, Barbados and he's still going strong!
