It seems like in checkers we are getting to "change generations and geography " era. Gegemony and domination of Anglo-American countries is ending.
I think it is fantastic the italian players are participating in Checkers with the rest of us..... I also wonder if it isn't worth contacting the Brazilian federation, although their variant is the same as international rules albeit with an 8x8 board, they might be interested. I have been making some good friends from there and they have a super-healthy federation with thousands of players.... i am sure some of the top echelon might be interested in trying their hand at our variant .... (food for thought for the folks from WCDF perhaps???!?)
I think the more people we find the better it will be for our sport....

Erika says thx for the picture, and Sergio wants to play at the Irish Open.
He was not sure if he is good enough, but I am not sure if we are good enough for him...
He is more expirienced in 3-move , and btw , secured a 3rd GM-title for Italy.
More after i return from a trip to Liguria at the 27th.

they arent cheap around here Tommy .... you see we mine the iron ore from australian soil.... ship it all the way to china, where they process it and send steel back and charge us 500% up for the end product...... government intelligence..!!!
