This will probably be my last post once again, somehow people keep drawing me back.

do you see what this topic was originally about assistance with a new checkers site which will have better options, better control, and would benefit the ACF.
Been turned into how some people online represent themselves and in general a back and forth argument? Danny turns ever single topic into garbage just like this and that is a prime example of a troll.

On my forum which does not include Danny or John was able to have a serious and controversial conversations for multiple pages and be respectful and have really good opinions. The conversations were done by all of these horrible internet players who are so rude and yet nobody got offended and nobody took the forum topic and turned it into complete junk. Another prime example of what trolls have been doing to this site.

Tommy's behavior is questionable, but Danny actually has a valid argument to Eric's first post and why he is "partly" against the idea of marketing online. Though you should explain this part Danny, but just use the words that you used in your message to me

Thanks Joe, i am glad that i was able to put my point across to you.... (it doesn't mean we have to agree fully, but at least we understand where the other person is coming from.)

I believe if we all LISTENED a bit we would find out that most of the time what people say here isnt necessarily opposites but a little divergent.... both going in the same direction but in a slightly different angle. here unless you say "amen" to everything we tend to get very defensive very quickly, without realizing maybe the person disagreeing with me is trying to help.

Danny, I meant what you said to me about the nature of online players and how you wish to keep ACF a more family oriented environment. That is what your worry is I think when it comes to advertising online and I dont think you got that point across well in your first post. That would be something good to discuss and to get people's opinons on. I agree to that it is ok to disagree, but I think we all should be careful of the words that we use and how we phrase things. For example, saying why rely on the "lowest common denominator" was maybe not the best words to use? You have a right to think that, I just think it would be more helpful to explain that more and to try and do it with words that won't offend people.

but it's not surprising. One has to admit that Alex does get "a bit " bigheaded sometimes... but I suppose he thinks that this is his right. He is world champ. As for Tommy, his contributions to this page are totally negative and lack any form of intelligence at all. And any chance he has to get a bite at poor Alex or any player of world class caliber he takes. But bites are only bites and contribute nothing to this forum. Stop whimpering and whining and do something useful.
