Here are the ratings completely up to date. There were a few small tournaments I was not able to get in because no crosstable was submitted. I did try to get in contact with the appropriate tournament directors, so hopefully they respond soon. But if you see a tournament you played in that is not on the list you know why. Also, if I felt a tournament was not "official" enough, I did not include it. For example, the Mayberry tournament was not included lol.

For those of you that are not satisfied with the ratings and how they are being calculated I can tell you that no change is probably going to come in the near future. Eric and I are quite satisfied with the current system, but we will consider other options. Of course it is up to the programmer if any change will happen. Please keep in mind that the ratings are still in the process of adjusting a bit from the Butler system. Not everyone may have an accurate rating yet. And anyone from 2009 will be put on the inactive list. Enjoy!

Yet, I never won Major Division to be forced to play in Master. Nothing can stop me now to play in Major Division - my rating is good
I will wait until "official" publication in ACF Bulletin. ACF has to approve all these results. For the time now I don't consider them final. If ACF administration accept it - they have to change "grey zone" and update BY-LAWS.
Regards,
Alex

I am playing checkers, not chess.

Yes get the inactive players of the Official list and there will be a much truer picture. There is too much "dead wood" lying around clogging up the true list, its not the first time ive high-lighted this problem so maybe now something will happen. Its not reasonable to have a player in the top ten who hasnt touched a draught for over two years and being listed while others are playing steady to improve their position, its just not fair?
Always read "Cannings Compilation 2nd Edition" every day.

I am surprised here to find myself in 2nd spot!!!!! Not only have i not played since 2009, but I have never competed in a ACF ty!!!tommyc wrote:Yes get the inactive players of the Official list and there will be a much truer picture. There is too much "dead wood" lying around clogging up the true list, its not the first time ive high-lighted this problem so maybe now something will happen. Its not reasonable to have a player in the top ten who hasnt touched a draught for over two years and being listed while others are playing steady to improve their position, its just not fair?
I am in total agreement that an inactive player (1.5 to 2 years MAXI,) should be removed from list. This also should apply to WCDF ratings too.
Only when this happens can we see a much truer representation.
Happy new year to all

On a slightly more serious note, i agree that inactive players should be removed, but i don't think it is such a big issue.
cheers
