The first unofficial world championship checker problem composing contest with live contestants has been underway for a week. It is over there under the POSITIONS tab of this forum.
We need you all to vote for the best of the two new problems there. You are not being asked to solve them. Your votes will not only determine the winning problem. They will also:
----Encourage the competing composers to continue
----Bring other composers out of retirement
----Persuade potential composers to enter future contests.
----Help revive the art of problem composing. It is not a dead art yet.
Recently there has been a lot of discussion about generating interest in the ACF. Why not support this little effort that is currently going on under our very noses?
The poll closes a week from tomorrow.
