I just find it strange that in order for anything to get done we have to complain.... there are people that have been appointed to DO certain jobs.... in order for them to do them, we have to complain.... then minor changes occur and then everything goes back to normal....

If the ACF is going to have some form of marketing efforts it should change its website.... there i said it, i complained... to me it is an obvious problem.... how is a sponsor going to take us seriously with the current website.
I am not having a go at whomever is responsible for its design, update and content.... all i am saying is, it could do with a lot of improvement.... we are in the 21st century now...

My ACF list says Liam Harkins listed twice.276/362.

Also Joe another deceased is Danny Doherty who had a very untimely passing about a year ago....is no.206 on your list.

Having went thru them all this is all the corrections i can see.

Don't want to derail any threads...but....
I'll be the first here to oppose the above statement and throw out an "OUTSTANDING JOB ON THE WEBSITE" to Jason Solan.
He does a remarkable job...as a Website administrator myself, I wish I could do 1/10th of the things Jason is does on the ACF site....

If you would care to READ my statement , you would see there is no need to oppose since i also believe Jason does a remarkable job,
having said that.... i think the look of the website could be improved.
Just because i say that it doesn't mean i diminish or belittle Jason's work. I just thought it was something worth discussing.

I did, indeed, read your statement......
You "complained", your post does not in any way express the thought that you believe "Jason does a remarkable job"......your post is derogatory.
Yes, I oppose your post with a compliment to Jason and his work.

Yes, I oppose your post with a compliment to Jason and his work.
complaining about something and making a derogatory statements are 2 different things...
perhaps you read my statement, BUT if you think i made a derogatory statement it is because you didn't comprehend it,
or because you do not know the meaning of the word derogatory.
pick up a dictionary or go to www.dictionary.com , that might help.

Your written statement is derogatory.

I stand by my post, and once again thank Jason Solan for his work on the ACF website.

I personally think the website is fine and think Jason does a good job. One of the reasons many tournaments aren't listed yet is because they have not been planned completely. The acf has many problems and I don't think the website is one of them

I think Danny has a good heart on this subject but it looks like he has fallen foul to some rude comments, after all hes only trying to help.

Hey guys. Eric just finished up putting the finishing touches on the ratings. The active list just consists of players who played in 2010 and 2011. By the end of this year, those players that have not played in 2011 or 2012 will be put on the inactive list. Several minor errors that were pointed out were also corrected. We will be posting this on the ACf site in the ratings section soon.

The ratings posted on this site are the ACF official ratings. The take over by me was approved by Alan M, I don't see how or why these ratings are not "official " yet.

Hi, Joe !

Ratings become official when they finally published in paper form in ACFB. This is the way we always had it before in the past ... unless ACF Executive Commitee changed this rule.

If so - ACF should find a way to deliver list (additional mailing ?) to ACF members who doesn't have computers or never visit this site. I would predict the percentage of those people is well above 50%.
