Hardest 3 Moves

Post by AKA »

What is everyone's most difficult 3 move on white and red?

On white I would have to say the Double Cross 9-14 23-18 14-23. On red, the Inferno 9-12 22-18 10-14.

The Black Hole was the last ballot to be identified as a clear draw, so it could be argued that by that measure it is the most difficult.

Computers agree with Patrick on 11-16 23-19. It is one of the most difficult ballots for automatic book generators to unravel.

Must be 1. 9-14 21-17, 2. 14x21 or 1. 10-14 21-17, 2.14x21 for white (Charleston! Believe it or not, there is pp on that one!)
and something like 1. 9-13 22-18, 2. 5-9 for red. Also 1. 9-14 24-20, 2. 13-17 to force a man to the rim is very innovative and proves that 3-move checkers is indeed full of scope :-)
