Plank?
I don't know what that is Jan. Did Jim's friend just finish planking in the below picture? I'd say he had better be careful of which side of the rest bench he rolls out on! :shock:

I did find a video of a guy demonstrating how to plank on YouTube. (click the below link)

Okay Jan, I get it now!

I guess Jim has been planking all his life because I think I found a baby picture of him...
Image

and it seems that humans are not alone in doing it...Squirrels do it
Image

Rabbits do it
Image

even Pooches do it too!
Image

but they will all have to go a bit to beat this lady at planking...
Image
now tell me, is she good at it or what?

Now that I know what planking is, I must say...

Jan, I see that Jim posted this picture on his blog.

You should pass this along to him!

Jan please don't be alarmed and work yourself into a tizzy with worry, I really don't think there is any danger there, that bear doesn't look very hungry; I believe the bear has recently had a big meal because he looks stuffed to me. :lol:

Jim wrote on his blog;
To mammoth lakes tomorrow which very high up in the mountains with apparently some of the best views in the country (lots of small lakes there if to hot might go skinny dipping in some lonely we spot)
Jan, like planking I don't know what "skinny dipping" is, if Jim does this will you post the pictures for us? Ha, Ha, just kidding please, please I beg you, if Jim does "skinny dip" don't post any pictures of it, don't even tell us about it!

Also if he should decide to "moon us at sunset" tell him please, don't mention it and for sure NO PICTURES! LOL

Jim wrote on his blog;
Have just been stired up by Jan again about my comment about not being able to comment on my blog, hope every one can see my point of view...
Jan, I think Jim is smart to not let us comment on his blog. He's on an adventure of a life time and for the next week he should just motor down the highway on his bike with the wind in his hair and not have a care... and besides, when the cat lovers and Aunt Maude and her followers read what he had to say about them and the social media giant Facebook he's going to have plenty to worry about. I understand that bunch is planning a going away party for him on the 3rd of September and they have a rope. Maybe he should think about catching an early flight home.

Image

BTW: Why doesn't Jim have a "Like" button on his blog? I'm lovin' it!

I'm embarrassed to say that my wife, Cindy, is in total agreement with you on that point. :oops:

and on that point, I'm in total agreement with you.

Identification to pictures would be nice but was not needed for this one.

I was surprised by this picture because Andretti's home has long been Nazareth, Pennsylvania and still is I think. I guess with his money he can afford two homes.

Around here auto racing is king and the Andrettis are highly thought of.
Mario Adretti, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mario_Andretti was the winner of the 1969 Indy 500 and was named the "Driver of the Century" by the Associated Press and RACER magazine.

Mario's twin brother, Aldo Andretti, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aldo_Andretti lives in Brownburg about 15 or 20 miles from my home and Aldo's son John Andretti http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Andretti has long been one of my favorite racecar drivers. He now lives in Mooresville, NC but is still very much envolved in this area with such causes as his 'Race for Riley", a charity which supports the James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children.
