Dennis, from your post readers may get wrong impression that all 3 cases of unplayed woman matches are alike, identical and in all 3 cases Amangul Durdyeva / Berdiyeva & Hoja complained.
However it is not quite true and each case is unique. In the past Mrs. Jan Mortimer (New Zealand) complained alot, Mongolian girl refused to play and today complains are coming from Turkmenistan. Match with Patricia Breen in 2007 didn't cause much problems and was played peacefully during Irish Open.
Different cases and different situations. In two previous unplayed matches conflicts Amangul didn't do anything wrong and this was proved by WCDF.
What happened now (2012) we'll learn soon from WCDF official announcement which I personally anticipate by the end of year when title cycle expire.

Without much details - yes. The tendency of WCDF policy is that "over-complainer" usually is more punished.JohnAcker wrote:Wasn't this exactly the kind of behavior that caused Ron King to lose his title?
Ron King actually was stripped off his title by ACF only, not other federations, but for the same behavior - unreasonable complains and delays.
At the moment of controversary in Dec. 2001- Oct. 2003 IDA continued recognise him as champion and EDA recognized title as vacant. The main thing is - match was finally played in Nothern Ireland because community greatly wanted it. It was tremendous international join efforts and Hugh Devlin role here was fantastic, successful and greatly appreciated.
If WCDF would really want woman match being played, they should put guns on both sides and turn on triggers

My sympathies with the Italian contingent in trying to arrange a match with Amangul. Its just another case of history repeating itself, and should not be allowed to happen. In my case i wasted a year trying to get a fair match with them, and if the WCDF had listened maybe we would not have had the repeat scenarios .At the time i asked them to be the head and not the tail, and set the rules, instead of letting the womens champion father dictate the conditions.
As for Alex, his interference, which was none of his business only made the situation worse. And his biasse, which was always against me,and which still continues to this day is apparent.
For a world champion that is detestable, and he should keep his nose out of other peoples negotiations.
This is the third or fourth time there has been attempts to get a match.Surely by now the WCDF should be saying "enough".If this had been a mens match, this kind of scenario would not have been tolerated.

Patricia Breen couldnt complain becasue she played very comfortable in the "Irish Open" but the other women has to complain to go to that country with many difficulties...WHY WCDF DONT TAKE HER OUT OF THERE? there wouldnt be complains playing in a nice country....
And i dont know why Alex has to be soooooo mean with Jan, and of course, we women take it personally...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Alex, i don't know all the details.... but from what i have read and heard .... They are doing the same as they did with Jan .... in other words, delays, lies, tactics to avoid the match. All those things are fine if that is how they are willing to retain the title INSTEAD OF PLAYING, but the WCDF should step up and strip them of the title if they refuse to play.
The way i see it, Alex .... there were no problems with Patricia Breen.... the 3 opponents i was referring to were the 3 TITLE DEFENSES.... she cannot agree to play against Erica.... she never agreed to play Jan .... and it took them a year and a half .... 18 months..... 500 days+ to arrange a bloody match of two people that live in the same bloody city.
As i said this is a wonderful opportunity for the WCDF to restore fairness and to do their duty as far as checkers is concerned.

Whats also bad Danny, was i was made too look like the one who was delaying, that it was my fault. And my name was maligned. It was very unfair, and the powers that be should not have sanctioned it!
