When you say major do you mean the people in 3rd and 4th place. I am not sure I understand semi rounds now. Before you last post I understood that the leaders would only play against each other twice. Once in the first four rounds and once in the finals. So, if the majors are just the thrid and fourth person then it seems to be a good setup. What about the time? Are we going to be playing until midnight? Is it two games per round? How much time per move? All these are actually good questions to know ahead of time but will not determine if I go or not. I am just awaiting my boss's approval.

we play 5 mins per move wcdf rules.yes two games per round.

not untill midnight.last year we started at 7 30 and ended at 10 30 the latest. the time of the start of tournament or venue has not been release yet will let u know in due time.prize money detils have not been release yet may be some more sponsors on board so the prize money could be more than last year would let u know.

the winner of the masters got $1000 could be more this year. ok alex when u said we u had me mix up but i understand u now.

micheal they are alot of players in barbados u may not know of that never went to the usa national so u could be in for a treat.

and they are some that was not on the team when barbados played usa.

Some tournament directors make it a point not to match us up. It might be a factor as to whether or not he comes to the National. We are still hoping for good dates on the WCDF (which do you know???) and hopefully a USA vs. Barbados Match to happen.

i just found out it does not look like they will be a usa vs barbados match this year sadly but still the national tournament u can attend.

Michael / Kent, one of my ideas in the past was - ask Joe Schwartz to host USA vs Barbados match in Florida in his area. It will be cheaper deal for Barbados players to get there, and also Joe may help with rooms a bit.

Just another idea which never materialize ... yet.

I can confirm - top Barbados 10-15 players are very tough and compatible with American masters in GAYP.

sorry to burst your bubble alex but visa fees have now gone up and i dont think it will be cheaper for us. best bet is for usa players to come here.

and it is not a a 100 percent we will get the visa.all of our players dont have visas. plus people like micheal would be glad to get back to barbados.
