Richard Pask Update

Post by Richard Pask »

Hi, I am writing this on behalf of my dad.
He his very grateful for all of the kind messages that he has received and the kind comments on this forum. He is still in hospital at the moment but is continuing to make remarkable progress. The doctors described his condition, after he woke up, as miraculous.
Many thanks again.

Thanks for very good news, Robert. You can be very proud of your dad and he can be proud of you ! Heart attack is not end of the world and I know - he soon will be completely back to business and healthy life.

Can't wait to see - when his next series will be ready.

Maybe John Acker can visit shortly Richard Pask in hospital or at home, when he (John) will be in London ?

Respectfully,

Alex M

Many thanks to everyone for all your good wishes. Apparently my heart stopped 6 times on the way to the hospital, and the expectation was I would die or at least suffer major brain damage. However, all is well the heart damage was very localised and a stent inserted - and in a little while I intend to continue work on the 10-15s.

Wishing you all the very best, sincerely Richard Pask

It's good to now hear directly from you. The factor of luck is not supposed to be involved in the game of checkers but it seems you're a very lucky checker player. I'm glad to learn that your situation has turned out so well.

Wishing you continued good fortune and good health.

Sincerely "Pal" Bucker

Dear Tommy,

Many thanks for your kind words and those of the fraternity in general. I'll probably go back to work - deputy head at a primary school - in September, though initially in a phased way. In the meantime, it's on with the 10-15s!

Richard
