Its a mystery what Alex was thinking in G 34........PLAYING 5-9 ??? THATS JUST BEGINNERS PLAY.Amazing words cant describe it jus beggers belief!!!

Congrats to new WC...........Miki well played and to Alex comisserations who has done alot playing a leading role and being an open book to everyone in draughts and being available to the world at all times.

Was his downfall playing too many little Tys agains lesser opposition? Did it give a false image water down his skills......no -one knows that i suppose however hes been a great champ for 10 yrs and i like titles changing it keeps things fresh and moving.

[Result "1-0"] 1. 10-15 22-17 2. 9-13 26-22 3. 6-10 30-26 4. 1-6 23-18 5. 12-16 24-20 6. 16-19 27-24 ??/............ maybe not a loser but jamming the double corner resultin in so many immobile pieces [thats not his way of playing as i he always advocated keep yur pieces open at all times].
Or was it he is a better front runner and didnt handle being behind too well?//...i dont know the answer but its not the Alex of old.Whatever the reason yu cant take away from Mikis performance "did a copy of Cannings Compilation he aquired a few moths ago help"?? .....whatever, a big big performance to win and no doubt we will see a re-match in the future.Thanks to John Acker[bilk] he had a big responsibility and stepped up to the mark keeping us well informed ..........great job!!
