Re: world qt 2013
Hello everyone,
the tournament is almost over. I have to play the last round this afternoon and I'm leading by 4 points against Jack Francis. I will win the competition, unless a big surprise comes up in the last round.
Regards
Sergio

Re: world qt 2013
Congrats to Sergio. He was a very pleasant person to talk with about checkers. I did manage to get three draws during the tournament to come in 4th on regular points and fifth on honor points. Sergio was too tough and I misplayed a line I had prepared for Jack on the ending (close to the ending). This was a great tournament and I feel like I have learned what I need to study to improve and do better two years from now.

it was a very nice tournament me kent layne had two nice draws with joe Schwartz he is a very good sports man. i had a hard 1-0 lost against micheal holmes he even should me where i should had draw after the match.
hard 1-o lost to chuck freeman but he is a good player.i won over alex holmes 2 -0 but he is a kid he has alot to learn.i drew 0- 0 with fellow bajan player dwayne harris.
drawing with Joe schwartz is my biggest success in draughts to date. he had beaten suki in one usa tourney already. Joe schwartz micheal holmes and chuck freeman the most friendly players i played with.

Re: world qt 2013
It was a nice checkers competition indeed. I liked the games a lot that I played with Jim Morrison, Joe Schwarts and Charles Freeman. I’m satisfied because I calculated almost every position properly. The program says that I made a couple of mistakes with Jack Francis in a winning position. Fortunately I won the game with a nice shot.
I will publish the game as soon as I arrive at home.
Some of you will try to predict the final result of the upcoming world Go-As-You –Please title match, but I’m not interested in prediction. I will do all my best to make the match more interesting than what you will think.
There are no more things to say for now.
Thank you for the congratulations.
Regards
Sergio
