Me and Tim Laverty got very preliminary agreement (without much details yet) to play match in Tim hometown Burlington on long weekend around Veteran Day: November 8, Friday - November 11, Monday and if necessary (in case of even score after 16 games) - November 12, Tuesday. I will stay in local hotel Econo Lodge and we'll play here in nice conference room on the 2nd floor.

Address: 2133 Hanford Rd, Burlington, NC (336) 227-1277 I've worked with management Brian Durham before. We have ideal playing room on 2nd floor and nice restaurant and cafeteria near by. Frig in playing room and hot tea/chocolate/coffee all day in breakfast area, and of course continental breakfast. Local new media will be there.
More details later. Any contributions are highly wanted and appreciated.
It seems like after losing 3-moves World Title Match in Italy, my psychological recovery takes longer than expected and match with Tim will be a good test and treatment
Due to Tim health conditions and later my problems, match was postponed. However, as-of-now both, me and Tim, recovered from health problems and each of us feel good enough to play this match.
It is quite possible that match still will be play as planned on time (Nov 8-11) in Burlington. Stay on for more news.
An interesting thing is - we have 2 bids this year ! The second one - ICHF. Things will be finalize in the next few days.
Match will be in Burlington, NC, November 8-11 and consist of 16 games. Many thanks to Charles Walker for his generous offer. Both players carefully reviewed both bids and decided to play in NC. Contributions to match are very welcome and wanted. In difference with several matches in the near past, in case of tie I will retain title, no extra 4 games.
Kind of strange, interesting and intrigue match ... both players had recently heart problems but recovered well enough to play World Title Match.
I am wondering if Travis Weddle still will be around for broadcasting and video recording ... ?
Respectfully,
AM

Thank you for your interest and we definitely appreciate your contributions. It is important that we contribute to National and WTM so we raise nice prize funds worthy of the Champions' time and ability to play our wonderful mind game at a GrandMaster level. By awarding the Champion it add dignity and status to professional checkers as any other championship game.
Disappointed about livestream, I will find out what I did wrong and hope for improvement tomorrow.
Here are the 4 games, both Alex and Tim analyzed after games and I also videoed this as well as the game and we missed this and the game unless I can figure how to post the drafts.
I think I missed win in games #3 and #4 but only program can confirm this. I did better in the morning and not so well in the evening. But match only started and everything is still ahead. Hopefully we should have livestream today.

In the last game Tim missed a win at the very end (assuming he was red)
18-14 here draws while 10-14 wins.
The second game is quite interesting with a good win also it transposes into solid checkers 104(V12)
