USA 2014 Youth National 3-Move

July 19th 10am to 4:45pm approximately at the BluegrassMagic Gameshop. The address is 5629 Outer Loop, Louisville, KY 40219. 502-964-1170.

This year the USA 2014 Youth National 3-Move will be one day. July 19th
Registration will be from 10 to 11 and play starts at 11. Also note that Youth tournament will end at 4:45pm.
Rd 1 11:00-11:45am
Rd 2 12:00-12:45pm
Rd 3 1:30-2:00pm

Winner Brackets and consolation games.
Rd 1 2:15-2:45pm
Rd 2 3:00-3:30pm
Rd 3 3:45-4:15pm
Awards 4:15- 4:45pm

Entry fee is $10.00.
Trophies and checker books for each group and over $400 in prize money total.
2 games per round, and age brackets 7 and under, 8-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15 through senior in high school. Obviously, anyone can play up. Three rounds will determine age bracket winners. Another three rounds determines overall winner from the age bracket winners.

The USA National Tournaments this year in Kentucky are in memory of former World Champion and Kentucky resident, Don Lafferty (1933-1998). He was a great friend to all, an awesome math and physics teacher at a Kentucky school, and one of the world’s greatest checker players ever.
Every player in the youth tournament will receive a checkerboard set!. There will be dozens of checker books, hundreds of dollars in prizes, trophies and ribbons given away at this tournament. It is the first time it has been held in Louisville, KY.

The last picture shows a board set up with 13 pieces per side. Is this a 13-move ballot tournament?

Bill, I didn't notice the extra checkers on square 13 and 20. I don't know who did this. But maybe someone is plays 13 men checkers?
