Jan Mortimer request from checker community

Post by rich beckwith »

Today I found a note from Wilma Wolverton that our friend, Jan, from New Zealand has been diagnosed with cancer. Wilma wrote, “She has cancer in the pelvic region and spots on both lungs. She will appreciate everyone’s prayers. Jan has been such a good friend to me!”

Thank you sincerely for that message Richard. I was aware of Jan's diagnosis several days ago when she made this known to me. Jan is a great friend of mine and she certainly will be in my thoughts, heart and prayers every day.

The latest news concerning my most wonderful friend Jan Mortimer is that she had a fall on Sunday night and they have now found a mass in her head. She is presently in hospital and is due to have bone tests on the 4th January.

I will keep you posted as I hear anything further.

Needless to say that my thoughts are entirely with Jan and her family throughout every waking moment.

Very sad news to learn Jan is not well. I want to thank you, Lindus, for the update. I'll certainly have Jan in my thoughts and prayers and get a card off to her.

I am heart broken by the latest news on Jan's medical situation. Jan has been a life time friend of mine and she is
one of the nicest person I have ever met. Joyce and I are praying for a miracle to help Jan overcome her illness.
I also know Jan's husband, Jim, and I know the heartbreak he is feeling and I pray also for him to have the strength
to deal with this situation. Thanks Lindus for letting me know about this.

I only know Jan through email and by telephone, but I have always admired her. She is a wonderful and good person and if anyone deserves a miracle, it's Jan. I will continue to pray for speedy and full healing.

Jan,

Thanks for checking in with an update. I believe in the possibility of miracles as well. Recently when I was in China, Charles Walker told me a fascinating story of how Marion Tinsley traveled to a special prayer service in response to a cancerous mass was detected, and afterwards everything cleared up! You will remain in my prayers.
