Jan, you know without me having to say it, but you are the greatest and most loyal friend I have ever known. I am with you in spirit every second. Just like our friends Irma, Wilma, Mac, Liam, Pedro, Rich, Pal, Bob and many others I will pray and pray and pray.

What do you like about checkers?: I enjoy learning more and more as i go. despite its alleged simplicity the game is incredibly complex and rewarding.

Yesterday I heard from the great Leo Levitz, and I was gobsmacked that he would send me a line of encouragement. He reminded me that I last visited him 11 years ago,and he was praying for me,im trying to persuade him to play me at iyt,hes 83 now,and I hope he does, so we can keep in touch. Leo is one of the truly great men in checkers, so im very humbled by him.

Just a quick note guys, just to keep you informed. Get treatment in two weeks in Dunedin, and for only a week,so that's great I thought id have 4-6 weeks. So not as exhausting.I have a family group photo I want to post online in the next week. You may be interested and you may not,but im posting it anyway lol

Thankyou George, Jim has been back doing areas of Route 66 on America Canada on his bike with his mates.and I neglected to put it on for you guys to look at,I regret to say, sorry about that.but if you look up coolkiwi55 -blog you should be able to read his latest from last year.He was going to take me back this year and retrace what he'd done,in a rental car with me,because I'm not game enough. to go on his bike.and Jim was going to let me play checkers at a checker match in America, while over there, we were thinking of a national maybe in Vegas, which I would have loved, but that's on hold now for a while.
