Otis Jones' Illness

I just received a message from Vonda Jones requesting prayer for her husband Otis who is seriously ill. She also requested that we pray for her to have strength to help Otis during this time. They were recently married 50 years.

I called Vonda "Bugs" just a short while ago to check on Otis and was pleasantly surprised when Otis answered the phone. He said he had just gotten home from the hospital. He has had 10 radiation treatments on his back for cancer it has spread there from his lung, I think he said it started in his right lung but the other lung is clear. He goes back to the doctor soon and they will decide what the next step will be.

He sounded good and is taking it all in stride, he said he s leaving his fate is in God's hands and he will accept whatever outcome comes his way.

Otis and Vonda are great people and i hope everyone continues to keep them in thoughts and prayers.
