Diagram #1. 9-14 trade here is quite common and adopted by published play, however Kingsrow recommend here 2-6?! Interesting fact and I really don't know what to say

Diagram #2. In both games, #27 and #28 white played here 31-27. There is an interesting possibility here, man down line which was often played in the past: 19-15, 3-8, 15-10*, 7x14, 18x9, 1-5, 9-6, 2x9, 23-19 etc Draw

In game #28 M. Borghetti having white pieces, after 31-27, 1-6 (12-16 shot is draw but leads to uncertain weak bridge formation) played 18-15 with quick easy draw. In game #27 Lubabalo played 31-27, 1-6, 19-15? (now 18-15 which played Miki seems reasonable) 3-8, 23-19, 17-21 and got extremely weak position.

The only draw here is very technical and fantastic, truly masterpiece: 26-22, 7-10, 22-17, 11-16, 27-23, 20-24, 17-13, 24-27, 28-24, 16-20, 18-14, 10x17, 15-11, 8x15, 19x1, 27-31, 1-5, 20x27, 23-19, 2-7, 32x23, 31-27, 23-18, 27-23, 18-15, 23x16, 5-9, 16-19, 15-10, 7x14, 9x18 Draw (white advance second King, come back and capture man)

In position on diagram #3 Lubabalo played 28-24 which after many moves and attractions ended to 3 Kings against 4 which was played for many moves. No comments, only emotions.

More about ... Position on diagram occurred after 35 moves. Here in the world championship game continued for another 53 moves ... kind of record. All Kings eventually were crowned and they played 5 kings against 4 and 4 kings against 3.

Today champion M. Boghetti and challenger L. Kodlo played 4 draws. Openings: 11-16, 22-17, 7-11 and 9-13, 24-20, 5-9 In 3rd game G31 having white pieces, Miki missed a well known to PP win (Mr. Sergio Scarpetta said that this win also is well known in Italian Draughts). After 32 games score is 6-1-25.

After opening moves both players refused to take a trade 17-14. In first game #29, having white pieces, Lubabalo played alternative attack 24-19 which was properly met by 9-14 and after repeating series of moves from published play, game ended into famous Strickland position on diagram where red make a draw: 10-15, 19x10, 6x15, 17x10, 9-14, 13-9, 12-16, 10-6, 1x10, 9-5, 16-19, 23x16, 14-18, 22-17, 18-22, 26-23, 22-26 etc Draw

In second game G30, having white pieces, after 11-16, 22-17, 7-11 Miki played 23-18. See position on diagram #1. Lubabalo immediately transpose this into well known Glasgow formation: 11-15, 18x11, 8x15, 24x19, 15x24, 27x11, 3-7, 25-22 (Anderson defense), 7x16, 22-18, 9-14, 18x9. See position on diagram #2. Here Lubabalo jumped 5x14. Jump 6x22 also is well known to published play - not much to discover left. After 5x14 Miki also didn't take action getter 28-24, "suki" pet line. M. Borghetti played pieceful 29-25, 4-8, 25-22, 8-11, 26-23, 11-15, 32-27 etc and soon after some trades draw agreed.

Relatively rest game. After getting a standard opening landing (with defense pitch) on diagram #1, Lubabalo played here 29-25, 7x16, 25-22, 9-13 (probably best but 1-5 also draw), 24-19, 1-5, 28-24, 3-7, 32-28, 7-10 and they reached position on diagram #2. Here Lubabalo trade 23-18, 14x23, 19-16 etc and the played this ending a bit.
